The musician community comes together to show solidarity with the nation. We stand by the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of NWFP and are putting together a Charity Concert to raise funds for supplies while raising awareness about the plight of our countrymen. All proceeds from the event will go towards procurement of everday supplies such as food items, medicines, clothes, shelter material etc. We will be personally taking the funds raised to the affected area and ensure their proper disbursements and will be working closely with the U.N. bodies already operating in the area to ensure a proper distribution mechanism.

If you want to go to a great concert, and also do good works for charities, then buy some Tickets for Charity. Tickets for Charity are a program where performance artists, sports teams, and so on, that donate part of the proceeds to charity of their choice. It could be worth paycheck loans, as the list of artists is diverse, and there are some serious heavyweights on the bill. James Taylor, the Elton John and Billy Joel tour, Dane Cook, Brad Paisley, the Boston Red Sox, and the one show guaranteed to not make any money – Creed. Still, it's a noble thing these artists are doing, and it's admirable they are giving cash advances to causes with Tickets for Charity.
